PinayFries at 5

After 7 months, yay! nakapag-post na din ako at advance pa hihi. Would like to greet ang aking Pinayfries sa kanyang 5th blogsary ( oo bukas pa Nov. 11 ) Ohh là ang bilis! ang bilis ng panahon nakaka-five na pala ang naabandon kong ka blogblogan. To pardon me, hayaan mong kantahan kita ng happy birthday hehehe....

Easter Sunday - Sorina's 50th Birthday Celebration

It was 50th birthday celebration of our friend Sorina last sunday. It was held in the restaurant wherein she had 50+ invites. We had karaoke and photo booth that night inside the restaurant.

 we got a souvenir family "cowboy" photo. we bring home about 6 pcs copies with different pose this one was my favorite!

my bibingclara posing near food :) i remember she only ate one fried spring roll and 2 pcs of buchi as dessert she had no appetite at all as she was always busy in the photo booth for the photo session :)

 i made four batches of cheesecake for my friend's birthday

 one with her photo on top which i ordered from OnVeut.com. This was not my first time ordering personalized photo for cakes this was actually the second time, after i ordered betty boop photo for cake for my birthday last december.

My blog birthday

Pinayfries at 4 years! Aba nakaka-apat na taon na pala itong blog ko. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon next month pasko na. Alam ko marami na akong utang na post ke pinayfries pero babawi ako at iisa-isahin ko silang pagbabayaran. Umpisahan na natin nung nakaraang week, last Nov. 11 ( Monday ) ay nagkaroon ng konting salo-salo sa pagdiwang ng apat na taon ng Pinayfries. Nagsalo-salo kameng apat ng magkaibigan syempre hindi sa apartment namin kundi sa apartment ng aking malapit na mga kaibigan.

Hubby's Bday 2012/2013

A lot of celebrations during October, ang dameng me berthday. Lahat ng mga kapatid ko at syempre si hubby. Ewan ko nga ba at sa bilis ng panahon ay nakaligtaan kong i-post ang kanyang pinaka-importanteng number ( ehemm itago daw ba ang age hehehe ) i mean, event last year. Huli man daw ay makakahabol din kaya eto na sya...

I know, taghigpit ng sinturon ( excuse ) hehehe personally i dont give gift to Claudebiko kahit na ngayon year na ito. Type ko lang ;)

hindi ko din sya pinag-bake ng cake! ( ang sama ) isang kandila para sa biniling cake sa panadero ( he blown his candle the night of Oct. 10, 2013 ( opo latest yan hahahaha ) wag na bilangin ang age :))))
Of course, extended pa rin ang kanyang birthday dahil one saturday ang ina ng kanyang anak ay inimbita us to have dinner chez elle ... alors, we went there and we had a great meal and great cheeses yum!

Well, nakaraos ang isa na namang taon kahit na simple lang na merong konting drama anyway, napansin ko lang last year isa lang talaga ang post ko sa buwan ng October at kung tutuusin ito din ang first post ko dito sa aking blog para sa buwan na ito. Yaan nyo mag e-effort talaga ako para me ikuwento kahit walang kwento. Pipilitin kong hindi ako antukin para makapag- blog hahahah ngapala wala pa rin akong regalo sa kanya ngunit meron naman syang natanggap na maganda at mamahaling "pull" mula sa kanyang nakaraan huwaw!

 at last, i succeed to make a kitkat-smarties cake for my daughter believe me, the kitkat bars and smarties are gone so fast kids really love it!

The celebration continues on the real birthdate of Bibingclara with relatives and another birthday bash will be throwing on the last sunday with adult friends. Celebration time come on! (",) you're invited!

Welcoming 2013

Happy New Year folks!!! I just talked to my family from Philippines a while ago, thru Skype. Welcoming 2013 is done from there and here, we are just going to begin the preparation of our meal. Just a simple dinner because we are just only 3 :)

10th year Birthday Celebration : 10 is my favorite number aside from 8

We attended a birthday dinner celebration last saturday. It was an invitation from a friend who's living not far from our place. That day was also the birthdate of my nephew in Philippines, dec 8 was also a feast of Immaculate Conception. I remember when i was younger, when it's immaculate feast day i used going to the immaculate conception church in Malabon. After church visit, i go directly to the public market to search for "miryenda" i used to eat ginataang bilo-bilo with sticky rice balls hmmm.. i really missed my hometown. So when there's celebration, i bake. And when i bake, i eat hehehe :)

i made a cheesecake brownie for the 3 occassions ( hati-hati na sila dyan hahaha )

when we arrived to their house, i quickly notice their sabsaban " crêche " in french ( thanks Claudebiko for the translation ) note: the little figurines are hand-painted by my friend and they came from different places. I just amazed by the sabsaban  ( i hope i've got the right term in tagalog hahaha )

can't help that's why i asked Claudebiko to picture me with the crêche on the side
Speaking of sabsaban, i was actually suggested that name when i was working in the crib factory. My boss refused when i suggested the said name for the name tags. He has the right medyo hindi maganda ang tunog but hehehe instead when we invented a new wooden high chair model, he was named it under my name para bang pampalubag loob hahaha i do not have idea if they still carrying the name for the high chair till now. Anyway, back to food. Here are the foods :)

we also had fried spring rolls ( chicken and tuna )

 and the chicken brochettes yum! yum! there was also chopped spicy tomatoes to go with the meal

Before when i was 12 years old kasing payat nya ako hahaha... seriously, when i saw her draw it mades me recognized na iyan ang suot nya nung nag-halloween party kame.

Keep it up girl... maybe one day you'll be a model or a famous style designer one day. Who know's? --Qui sait? :)

Birthday treat : Asian resto

Another treat from a friend last monday, we have been into a chinese-vietnamese restaurant. The food is good and the price is ok. My friend is not into soup so she ordered rice. And mine, i ordered dry noodles with a separate bouillon ( she recommends i try it ) :)

i enjoyed my noodles yummy! the reason why she was treating me? it was her late bday celebration kaya pansit ang kinain ko hahaha pampahaba ng buhay ;). A part from that, she has restaurant ticket to be consume till end of the year.

Yummy sponge cake covered with chocolate, we both enjoyed eating the cake with a bit of "confiture" i also enjoyed her sample tea from Fauchon. One day, i would also like to invite her hindi nga lang sa restaurant dito lang sa bahay hehehe ipagluluto ko sya ng Pancit :)

My friend's bday celebration

We went to my friend's bday celebration last month yep last April. Time fly so fast! now we're in May. And tonight, ( ce soir ) we also had another birthday celebration to attend. Kaloka! month of May has the more days of holidays. In french calendar starting from Labor Day, World War II Victory Day, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Whit Monday ( religious holidays ). Samahan pa ng mother's day ( celebration in some other countries ). Here mother's day will be in June. So malapit na rin. Holiday means celebration and celebration means food hehehe so Here's the food :)

True, everytime we have a celebration laging bumabaha ng sweets. So many choices when it comes to desserts. The last time if i am not mistaken, we had leche flan, 2 kinds of rice cakes, choco-banana cake, brazo des mercedes. In our group, "bawal ang diet" hehehe. For tonight, i will bring rhubarb cake which baked by yours truly :)
