Pork adobo

Adobo is an all-time favorite! There are so many versions of adobo. I know some that fry meat first ( either chicken or pork ) before simmering. Mine is very simple i just throw in everything in the casserole and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes over a low heat then it's ready. I never tried cooking adobo with both chicken and pork. When i cook chicken abodo, ( Bibingclara's favorite) we eat steamed rice with but when i cook pork adobo like what i made last time, we eat it with potatoes :)
                                           Ingredients :
1 kilo of spare ribs
4-6 pcs potatoes ( medium size)
1 head small garlic
whole grain peppers
2 bay leafs
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 white vinegar
Place the quartered potatoes in the casserole, arrange spare ribs over potatoes. Pour in the water, soy sauce and vinegar. Throw in cloves of garlic, grain of peppers and bay leaves. Simmer for 30-45 minutes in a low heat or it may extend the cooking time till 5-10 minutes more until the potatoes and pork gets done :) Serve and enjoy! Next time, i'll cook ADOBONG CHINESE that i have learned from yaya jenny :)
