Big Fish

We love to eat fish mostly Bibingclara. Her papa always make sure that she'd eat fish once or twice a week even if sometimes the price in the market is "hors de prix" -expensive, mahal. Pero kahit na mahal ay bibilhin nya ito para sa kanyang mahal na anak n'est-ce pas ma cherie? isn't mahal ko?
one day in the market in Ile de ré, we saw a big fish that attracts the young buyers :)
we bought céteau that day and we love the way Claudebiko cooked it
Dont ask me why, but sometimes it's kinda strange when i enjoy most conserve fish more than the fresh one maybe just because i am missing the usual sardinas i'm eating like ligo sardines when i am home. To make sure i have stocks aside from ligo sardines ( pasalubong ni tita ) at home, i bought sardines and fish paté at la belle iloise in St.Martin :)
quite expensive but they have wide selection of different flavors ( sauces, aromatics and spices )
opening one of the sardines of la belle iloise
i can finish all! oh no, i have to share 2 pcs for Claudebiko's bread (with butter of course) and 3 pcs left for my rice hihihi
I have another gourmandise when it comes to fish like in this bottle.
                                                           soupe de poissons- fish soup
I never knew this before, when i tasted it nagustuhan ko instantly. I said we have plenty of fishes pero never akong nakatikim nito sa pinas sabaw ng puréeng isda hmmm.. sarap!
rouille-rusty color paste and plain/garlic croutons
Paano kainin? well, reheat the soup in the casserole ( wag pakuluin ) then serve in a bowl top with a spoon of rouille or creme and croutons. One thing i regret, di ako nakabili at nakapagdala ng marami ang bigat ng bote eh hehehe :)
