Adodong pusit

Adobong pusit is a favorite! when i was 12 years old, i already learned how to cook it. Without a doubt, i get learned it from my father by looking when he do food for us. According to my eldest sister, mine was always delicious coz i cooked it till the sauce dries up. Living here for a years, i never cooked squid for my family until one day, i saw fresh squids in the chinese supermarket and never get hesitated to buy a kilo to make adobo for our dinner :)
a kilo of squid bought for less than 5 euros
Here's how :     Ingredients
1 kilo squid ( wash and clean cut into two )
cooking oil
1 head garlic ( minced )
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp. peppercorns
2 pcs bay leaf
In a deep pan, heat the oil, sauted garlic when garlic turns into golden brown add the squids. Let it cook for a few minutes then add soy sauce+vinegar+peppercorns and bay leaf. Stir for 7-10 minutes. Do not over-cooked the squids because it will turn chewy. Serve with steamed rice :)
adobong pusit on the table!
Hubby and i enjoyed it! i do not let the sauce get dries up like usual because i wanted to pour the sauce on my rice and i cooked it fastly coz we were so hungry. Next time i will try to cook pusit with celery. Yum! :)
