Rice pudding / Riz au lait

Speaking of sweets, ito lang ang dinadayo kong dessert sa ile de ré ang rice pudding. I have tasted all brands of rice pudding pero ang rice pudding from here talaga is on top. Napatikim ko na ito sa aking auntie, friends at ito talaga ay super sarap. Ito ang dessert na aking kinakain kahit na every day kaya ko tong kainin at ulit-ulitin ( hmm.. ang figure ) This dessert is actually easy to make, ( haven't tried yet ) pero kakaiba ang paggawa nila ng caramel talagang nakaka adik hehehe :)

                                     Riz au lait de l'ile de ré / Rice pudding from island of ré 

bought in the supermarket for 2.20 euros per pot ( quite pricey) regularly purchased on that price since last year. One day, i discovered that they're selling the same at carrefour contact for the price of 1.91 euros ( i save some cents ) from then on, i normally buy yummy riz au lait at carrefour supermarket :)

It has thick caramel in the bottom of the ramequin . The mixture of milk and rice is just right! Awesome!

Being a gourmande mama, nahawa na din ata ang aking Bibingclara. She eats rice pudding everyday as her all time favorite "Miryenda". An important thing that my daughter had learned from eating rice pudding is to give and share kelangan tirhan si Mama bago maubos hehehe :)
